Coast Cat Project focuses on the feral, stray, and abandoned cat populations on the Mendocino Coast. We call these cats, "Community Cats." We assist with Trap Neuter Return with an emphasis on how it helps cats and the community as a whole. We hope to decrease the overpopulation of community cats, reduce the number of cats surrendered to the local shelter, and overall reduce the suffering that community cats can face. We also run a barn cat program for at risk feral cats and we socialize feral born kittens through a committed foster network. Occasionally, we rescue cats in need locally or from other communities.
